Antoine E. Gautreau, 72, of Foyer St-Thomas, Memramcook (formerly of Gautreau Village) passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 2, 2000 after a lengthy illness.
Born in Gautreau Village, he was the son of the late Edgar Gautreau and Aurella Boudreau. He was a retired machinist with C.N.R.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannine (LeBlanc) Gautreau; two daughters, Della (Jean) Breau, Saint John, NB and Janice (Grant) Freeze, St. Anselme; two sisters, Jeannette (Norbert) Poirier, St. Joseph and Mélina (Ludger) LeBlanc, Dover; three brothers, Henri (Aline) Gautreau, Pré-d'en-Haut, Gérald (Louise) Gautreau, St. Anselme, Allain (Judy) Gautreau, Riverview; four grandchildren, Mélanie, Julie, Christopher, Catherine; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Joseph, at birth; one brother, Gillie in 1989.
Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home, with the Funeral service to be held at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut on Thursday, May 4 at 7pm, with Father Sylvio Doiron officiating. Interment in Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Cemetery.
